Amanda DeBoer Bartlett, Shanna Gutierrez, and Jesse Langen present a concert of works by internationally prominent contemporary composers alongside pieces by up­ and­ coming musicians from the United States, Europe, and Central and South America. These include premieres by Mauricio Pauly, Pedro Alvarez, Evan Johnson, New Orleans­-based composer Ray Evanoff, and pre-eminent German avant-gardist Claus-Steffen Mankopf, whose attendance is funded in part by the Goethe ­Institut Chicago. This concert is an encore performance of their show in New Orleans on April 11 as part of ANODE 2014, a series of concerts and gallery shows related to contemporary music hosted by the newly-­founded arts organization FOCI Arts.
