High Plains
High Plains
High Plains is the duo of Scott Morgan (aka loscil) and cellist Mark Bridges. Their debut album, Cinderland, will appear on kranky in March of 2017. In early 2016, the duo embarked on a collaborative set of compositions in the oxygen thin air of Wyoming, spending two weeks in a refurbished school house outside the town of Saratoga, where the album was recorded. Cinderland takes cues from classical, electronic and cinematic musical traditions but is mostly a product of the rugged, mythic Wyoming landscape; vast and sprawling with a wild, uncertain edge.

Anjou
Anjou’s Mark Nelson and Robert Donne are experimental music treasures. They’re both members of the influential post-rock and drone innovators Labradford, and they have both enjoyed popular projects since, the former as Pan•American and the latter as Cristal and Aix Em Klemm with Stars of the Lid’s Adam Wiltzie. Anjou are set to release their sophomore album Epithymía on kranky in March of 2017
